Ferenc Hammer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Associate Professor the Media and Communications\u00a0Department at ELTE University in Budapest since 1997. His teaching areas, research fields and project topics comprise disinformation, media representations of inequalities and conflict, cultural history areas such as everyday life in Communism,\u00a0or the sociology of consumption.\u00a0He has worked as a scholar in the UK, in Germany and in the US. His works have been <a href=\"https:\/\/m2.mtmt.hu\/gui2\/?type=authors&amp;mode=browse&amp;sel=authors10031642\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published<\/a> in five languages. Active in international academic cooperations, in media policy initiatives, and a regular public <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/1dN0cXOOX04PqYDbT1mQQNtM84ruytoFwB0hnpF1EcEA\/edit?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speaker<\/a>. His most recent work addresses certain dimensions of silencing, self-censorship, and intimidation in academia.
