He holds a Ph.D. in Literary Studies from the University of Antwerp and conducted research stays at EHESS (2021) and New York University (2023-2024). He is currently finishing his first monograph, tentatively titled <em>Revelationist Aesthetics in Contemporary Cinema: History, Analysis, Criticism (1950s-2000s)<\/em>, which is under contract with Amsterdam University Press.
