Die aktuelle Ausgabe der Open-Access Zeitschrift sub\/urban<\/a> f\u00fcr “kritische Stadtforschung” besch\u00e4ftigt sich unter dem Titel “Die intime Stadt” mit “Kulturen der queeren Verbindung” entgegen der allgemein diagnostizierten Anonymit\u00e4t des urbanen Lebens. Teil der Redaktion ist auch KWI-Fellow Stefan H\u00f6hne<\/a>. In Zukunft wird das Projekt dar\u00fcber hinaus auch vom KWI unterst\u00fctzt, sodass zuk\u00fcnftige Ausgaben auch in Print erscheinen k\u00f6nnen. Eine weitere Publikation kommt von KWI-Fellow Iymon Majid<\/a>. In einem Aufsatz in India Review<\/a> schreibt Majid \u00fcber gewaltsame Aufst\u00e4nde in Kashmir und interpretiert die Verbindung zwischen den Organisationen Hizb ul Mujahedeen und Jama\u2019at e Islami neu. The Parish Review”<\/em> unter dem Titel “Bureaucratic Sorceries in The Third Policeman: Anthropological Perspectives on Magic & Officialdom<\/a>“. Der Artikel ist online abrufbar.<\/p>\n Recently, new publications by KWI members have been released:<\/p>\n The latest issue of the open-access journal sub\/urban<\/a> for “critical urban research” deals under the title “Die intime Stadt” (“The intimate city”) with cultures of queer connection against the generally diagnosed anonymity of urban life.\u00a0Part of the editorial team is also KWI’s Stefan H\u00f6hne<\/a>. In the future, the project will furthermore be supported by KWI financially, so that future issues will also be available in print. Another publication comes from KWI Fellow Iymon Majid<\/a>. In an essay for India Review<\/a>, Majid writes about violent insurgencies in Kashmir and reinterprets the link between the two organisations Hizb ul Mujahedeen and Jama’at e Islami.
