On this evening, they will present their research projects, ranging from disciplines such as history, sociology to art history and literary studies.<\/p>\n<p>During his time at KWI, Florian Fuchs will work on a project entitled \u201cThe Visual Afterlife of Theory \u2013 Harun Farocki\u2019s Procedures\u201d. While Kasey Henricks is at KWI, he will further develop his second book project tentatively titled\u00a0\u201cChicago on the Take: Ticketing and Towing in the City of Collision\u201d. Gregory Jones-Katz will concentrate on his new book project,\u00a0\u201cGlobalizing American Theory: The Cultural Politics of the Academic Left and the Neoliberal University\u201d. Weronika Kobyli\u0144ska will focus on artistic narratives \u2013 such as soundwalkings and sonic art \u2013 created in dialogue with the Ruhr\u2019s soundscapes during her fellowship. Nisha Kommattam will devote her time to the completion of a book manuscript titled\u00a0\u201cThe Public Secret,\u00a0a monograph focusing on narratives of queerness and trauma in South India\u201d. Irit Kornblit will spend her time at KWI undertaking a conceptual history of \u201ccultural diversity\u201d. Tilo Reifenstein\u2019s work during his fellowship will aim to characterise art-history writing as an\u00a0epistemic practice that is necessarily literary. Avril Tynan will pursue a monograph on the role of dementia in contemporary French literature.
