The lecture has been recorded and is now available in the KWI media library.<\/p>\n<p>Schneider&#8217;s lecture examines libraries as social institutions, catering not only for books but also for people.\u00a0From our present point of view, dedicating a specific space for reading and writing seems obvious and unimportant at the same time.
