When we study artistic-scientific practice, our goal is not to define or confine it. Rather, we explore what teaching formats, writing styles, forms of expression, and event designs can look like when they are intentionally geared toward experimentally expanding and enriching the repertoire of artistic-scientific practice.
We aim to take stock of the field and build an archive that collects and documents artistic-scientific projects. This involves holding and recording discussions that examine the specific conditions and possibilities in which each project works, can work, and must work.
As a research group, we also actively develop, test, accompany, question, and reflect on new ways of engaging with artistic practice, scientific research, and teaching in collaboration with other participants.
Through this approach, we seek to foster new concepts and formats for artistic-scientific practice, present programmes and plans, document processes, showcase resulting works, and share insights gained along the way.
