„How is the division of labour related to work-life conflict? Which contextual factors can potentially increase equality in the division of labour? What is the role of the situation in the workplace and the labour market? Are there country-specific differences in the division of labour within families and couples and its relation to work-life conflict?“1
These are the main questions of the new thematic issue „Division of Labour within Families, Work-Life Conflict and Family Policy“ of the peer-reviewed open-access journal „Social Inclusion“ that has just been published. Edited by Michael Ochsner (FORS Lausanne, Switzerland), Ivett Szalma (Centre for Social Sciences, Hungary/Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary) and Academy in Exile fellow at KWI Judit Takács, the issue aims „to examine the division of labour within couples and families and its relation to work-life conflict from a multilevel perspective.“2
The issue can be read and downloaded here.
