Bis zum 6. Januar 2025 legt das Institut eine Winterpause ein. Danach beginnen wir das neue Jahr mit einer ganz besonderen Veranstaltung: Das Projektteam des ERC-geförderten Projekts „The Cultures of the Cryosphere“ trifft sich zu seinem ersten internen Workshop, um die Arbeit gemeinsam aufzunehmen. Projektleiterin Bronwyn Parry hält dazu am 7. Januar einen Abendvortrag, um das Forschungsvorhaben der Öffentlichkeit vorzustellen.

The Institute of Advanced Study in the Humanities is looking back on an eventful year 2024. We thank you for your interest and support, and we warmly invite you to keep following the KWI’s activities in the coming year – for instance by subscribing to the KWI newsletter. A new issue will be published at the beginning of January.
The KWI will be closed for a winter break until 6 January 2025. After that we are starting the new year with a very special event: The project team of the ERC-funded „The Cultures of the Cryosphere“ is meeting for its first internal workshop to mark the start of its research. Principal investigator Bronwyn Parry is holding a public lecture on 7 January to present aims and project to the public.
